Image collection was stopped about 1/2 way through the last potting group (Vetch) due to the following reasons: it began to drizzle, the cables interfered with the rain cover’s ability to stay on, the flash stopped triggering, but images continued being captured with the error message, “image failed to upload”. Additionally, the weather radar showed an incoming rain front.

Less images than normal were collected, possibly due to the row spacing being set to 43 instead of 40. Additionally, while lowering the camera after the run, the green power cable got caught and pulled out of the camera. It has been fixed, and camera operation did not appear to be affected (confirmed after testing).

Smooth run. Berseem clover is getting very large. 6 large vetch were removed, bringing the existing potting group down to 50% density. 2 new potting groups for Vetch and Winterpea are ready to be distributed after camera testing.

Image orientation has changed to display the image rotated by 180 degrees, the images appear “upside down”.

Bbot had x-axis starting issues. The first 3-4 pots were not captured because of x-traversal misalignment. Instead extra images of the bbot wheels were taken.

1 Vetch removed. 1 Winter guard fully installed, and PVC installed for the second. The measurements were incorrect for one of the plastic covers so more is being ordered. Rebar and markers will be installed as soon as possible.

Try to remember to place both passport and large color checkers going forward. 15 pots from Winterpea, and 8 pots from Vetch were removed to start seperate potting groups for tall & wide plants. Some of the pots that were removed were small. These need to be returned and only larger plants should be removed.

Testing with new SVCam

Pryia and I discovered Friday evening the SV cam on the NCSU BB has a hardware fault and cannot be communicated with at all. (The ethernet port is completely dead).
My recommendation is to contact the manufacturer and work with them and getting it fixed and diagnosing what killed it. I do not recommend getting out one of the other cameras until we are sure what caused this issue.
