Popup Maker for Modals
For this website, a modal is an element that will display or “pop up” with a page of content, without leaving the current page one is on. This is accomplished through the Popup Maker Plugin.
This plugin allows one to create popups similar to how one would create a page. On the top half, there is an area to add content. In Popup Maker → Settings → General, one can select “Enable Block Editor Support” to ensure that this content area consists of a Page-like block editor. Otherwise, you will get a simple text/visual editor.
Linking a popup can be done in two ways. If one gives an element the CSS class for the corresponding popup, as shown in the table above, clicking on the element will activate the Popup. Additionally, when selecting a link to insert or add, once has the option to choose a popup. However, there may be some difficulty implementing this feature into an ACF Block Field.
