Naming Conventions

The naming convention follows the following format:

<number of images>_<size class>_<common name>_<batch_id>_annotations_camvid.zip

For example

  • 60_medium_large_Crimson_clover_MD_2023-10-10_annotations_camvid.zip

    • number of images = 60

    • size class = medium large

    • common name = Crimson clover

    • batch id = MD_2023-10-10

    • file extension = .zip

Downloading Data

  • Downloading Data

    • Open Google Chrome

    • Go to Google Drive

    • Access the CVAT folder

      • Search google drive for CVAT

      • Open the CVAT folder

      • Navigate to the “Unlabeled” folder

      • Navigate to the subfolder matching your name

    • Select and Download the data

      • Select the dataset you want

      • Download the zip file

      • Save the zip file to your computer

    • Extract the data from the zip file

Importing Data to CVAT

Importing data into CVAT is done through the creation of a Task or Job. See CVAT basics page for more detailed information on Tasks and Jobs.

    • Starting a new Task

      • Navigate to the Tasks Page

      • Select the blue plus symbol in the upper right

      • Select Create A New Task

        • For the name, find the data you’re about to upload

          • If you just downloaded the data

            • Navigate to the Downloads 

            • Hover over the name of the dataset

Exporting Data from CVAT

    • Select the task you’re exporting

    • Open Google Chrome

    • Go to Google Drive

    • Navigate to the CVAT folder

      • Search google drive for CVAT

      • Open the CVAT folder

    • Navigate to the “Labeled” folder

      • Navigate to the subfolder matching your name

    • On your computer

  • No labels
