HLB MAC - founded Dec. 2013 by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) implemented a unified emergency response framework, the HLB MAC group, to better position the Department to help address the citrus industry’s immediate and long-term needs in dealing with this disease. In addition to USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), the MAC is comprised of representatives from USDA’s Agricultural Research Service (ARS), and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), the United States Environmental Protection Agency, State departments

FL- Craft, founded 2019 as CRAFT Foundation, Inc. was organized. CRAFT Foundation is a private 501(c) 3 Direct Support Organization of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industries authorized under section 570.0691 Florida Statutes. Has begun Cycle 5 participant trials in 2024.

TX - Craft, founded ~ 2021? (pending confirmation), is organized by Texas A&M Citrus Center, executed by https://www.tamuk.edu/agriculture/institutes-and-other-units/citr/faculty/David-Laughlin.html . Has run 1 Cycle of on-farm research, funded for up to 1,000 acres, with 10 growers (confirm this stat…). Also has research trials on station at Texas Citrus Center https://www.tamuk.edu/agriculture/institutes-and-other-units/citr/index.html utilizes digital forms for research collection on HLB incidence, Clas, Tree Growth Parameters, and Rootstock. Has opened Cycle 2 in 2024.
