Introduction

This document will go over planning for development and user testing for the DSTs

Selector

  1. Resolve lingering MCCC updates to core logic → December 8th

  2. Get MCCC images and crop descriptions from Anna→ EOY

  3. Get updated about and help pages for MCCC from Anna → EOY

  4. Get updated about and help pages for SCCC from Sarah → EOY

  5. Update API and front end to use new images, descriptions, about and help pages → EOY

  6. V1 national tool NECCC/SCCC/MCCC → Mid January?

  7. Western DV → sometime in March

  8. Video → January?

  9. User testing for SCCC → happening now

  10. Do we want to do user testing for the MCCC?

    1. This will be a part of version 2 testing with WCCC

  11. NRCS training for selector + seeding rate calculator → March (NECCC/SCCC/MCCC Seedcalc + Selector ready + training/webinar + user testing)

Seedcalc

  1. Resolve initial bugs found in the tool and feedback from stakeholders → wrapping up

  2. Migrate to SDK → December 11th

  3. Initial testing with Anna, Victoria, Juliet, Heather Darby → Jan / Feb

  4. User testing → Ready in January

  5. SCCC DV → January

  6. SCCC tool ready → ~Mid February

  7. Seeding rate calculator testing groups will need to be more specific

  8. SCCC notes

    1. Make sure tool doesn’t recommend outside of planting window

Ncalc

  1. Complete satellite biomass flow → in review, should be done this week

    1. Delayed 01-08-24 → new target next week done 01-15-24 review finish that week

    2. Planting dates for cover crop and cash crop

  2. Complete satellite nitrogen release POC → Dec 18th?

  3. Finalize lookup table → TBD

  4. Complete version 1 geospatial → Mid January

Econ

  1. Complete version 1 hard deadline Dec 15th

  2. User testing → Ready in January 2024

  3. Mobile styling → after user testing

Water

  1. Complete version 1 → TBD

  2. Off radar for 2023 DST team

  3. Check in with Bosco about graduation date

Vegspec

  1. Once cultivars is worked out we may be ready to do the seeding rate part
